Happening Now with Pastor Jack and Daniel Cohen

The world is currently engaged in a propaganda war, where lies corrupt the mind much like missiles destroy bodies. For Christians, silence in this conflict guarantees the enemy’s victory without a shot fired. Understanding the truth requires grounding in biblical prophecy, supporting Israel, and discerning media bias, especially in the context of global Islamic expansion.

The Global Spiritual War: Truth vs. Propaganda

Journalist Daniel Cohen notes that the narrative surrounding the Middle East is manipulated; terrorist missile launches are labeled “escalation,” while Israel’s necessary defense is termed “aggression”. This media bias is loud, often dressed up in professionalism and political correctness, and must be exposed. The new Daniel Cohen Show, launching from Israel on the Real Life Network, seeks to provide honest, biblical worldview news from Jerusalem.

The current opposition to Israel is a manifestation of a spiritual war. The Bible predicts that in the last days, before Christ’s Second Coming, the world will turn its back on Israel and hate the Jews, with no nation standing in its defense.

Media Deception and War Tactics

The need for accurate reporting is critical, especially when mainstream networks instruct correspondents not to call Hamas “terrorists” but rather “militants” or “freedom fighters”. This is highly offensive given the atrocities committed on October 7th against women, children, seniors, and Holocaust survivors.

Tactics used by terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah highlight the depravity of this conflict:

  • They deliberately use their own women and children as human shields.
  • Terrorists have worn women’s clothing to ambush IDF soldiers.
  • They view their people’s lives as disposable for the “greater good” of their cause.

In stark contrast, Israel holds the value of life (including retrieving the remains of soldiers) so highly that they will expend significant resources to recover one person, dead or alive.

The Personal Calling to Israel: Daniel Cohen’s Journey

The journey of Daniel Cohen, a three-time Emmy award-winning journalist, exemplifies God positioning His people. Cohen and his wife, Paige, moved from working as a morning anchor in the US (Fox 11’s Good Day LA) to making aliyah (becoming citizens) in Israel.

The transition began during the early days of COVID when Cohen’s rating-successful contract was not renewed after his boss spiked a planned Easter interview with Franklin Graham, fearing it would be an “unforced error”. Immediately following the non-renewal, the Lord put the story of Elijah on his heart, clearly speaking the word “Israel” to both him and his wife.

The family, despite not having passports or a job, sought a humanitarian approval to visit during the airport closures so Cohen’s grandmother, a Holocaust survivor, could meet her great-grandchildren. They eventually made aliyah, accepting the dream God placed in their hearts. Cohen became the first Jerusalem correspondent for Newsmax. After October 7th, he joked, “We came for COVID, we stayed for the war”.

His family’s life in Jerusalem demonstrates resilience, enduring constant rocket attacks, including Houthi ballistic missiles. The family finds strength through prayers sent by believers 9,000 miles away. Cohen confirmed that his first assignment with the Real Life Network, after leaving his prior job, involved dedicating armored ambulances from the Billy Graham Foundation—the very organization whose interview had been spiked four years earlier—demonstrating God’s perfect faithfulness.

The Collision Course: Islam, Sharia, and the West

The sources warn that the world is on a collision course with Islam (not exclusively “radical Islam”). This conflict is fueled by a strategy focused on ideological and demographic conquest of the West.

  • Demographic Strategy: Yasser Arafat admitted that without the military firepower to defeat the West, they would conquer through “women’s bellies”. The strategy involves Muslims moving into cities and having five to nine children, aiming to change a city’s demographics by 10%.
  • Taxpayer Funding: The American system enables this strategy by setting up welfare to pay for the children and multiple wives of Muslim men, with the system being used for strategic repopulation.
  • Sharia Influence: Communities like Epic City in Texas (which Governor Abbott paused) were planned to enforce Sharia law by naming roads after Muslim conquerors who killed Christians and forcing HOAs to support mosques.
  • Deception (Taqiyya): The Quran endorses Taqiyya, allowing Muslims to be deceptive and lie to advance the cause of Allah or Islam.

Israel: The Center of Prophecy and Conflict

Israel is declared the “epicenter of it all”. God placed Jerusalem in the heart of all nations (Ezekiel 5:5).

Theological Foundations

A core issue undermining support for Israel is flawed theology, particularly Amillennialism (held by Catholicism) and Replacement Theology.

  • Amillennialism believes there is no physical, future millennial reign of Christ in Jerusalem; instead, they spiritualize prophecy.
  • Replacement Theology is called a “demonic doctrine” because it claims the Church replaced Israel, suggesting God failed to keep His promises.
  • Biblical View: Christians should adopt Premillennialism, believing Christ will physically return to Jerusalem, sit on David’s throne, and judge the nations. God’s covenant with Israel is irrevocable. Israel is real (I-R-E-A-L).

Irrevocable Covenant and Land Rights

God made an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his descendants, giving them the land “forever”.

  • Borders: The promised borders of Israel include the Nile and the Euphrates.
  • Media Terms: The media’s use of terms like “occupied land” and “West Bank” (instead of Judea and Samaria) is highly scrutinized, as it indicates an anti-Israel agenda. The term “Palestine” was a construct created by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD to insult the Jews, naming the land after their ancient enemies, the Philistines.

The Imperative for Christians: Speaking Truth and Trusting God

Christians must be strong on Israel. It is impossible to say, “I’m a Christian… and I don’t support Israel”. To deny Israel’s existence or right to the land is to disbelieve the Word of God, risking an Antichrist viewpoint.

Overcoming Deception

The rise of sophisticated AI means that deception is becoming harder to detect (illustrated by the fake video of 50 bunny rabbits on a trampoline).

  • Discernment: The only way to know the truth is through supernatural revelation from God, known as discernment.
  • The Word: Believers must know their Bibles. The Bible is the ultimate, flaw-free authority. Every claim must be judged against the Word of God. God esteems His Word above His own Name (Psalm 138).

The Call to Action

This is a critical time, and Christians must be abandoned with their lives to speak the truth. The required response to God’s calling is simple: say “yes”.

The immediate priority for every person is knowing Jesus Christ. Salvation requires humbly acknowledging sin, asking Christ to forgive and enter one’s life, and accepting the free gift of salvation based on faith.

Historical Lessons

History itself is being distorted. The Crusades, often portrayed negatively, involved European Christians defending their borders (e.g., at the Gates of Vienna in 1683) against invading Islamic forces. Americans are perceived as “stupid” and “not bright on history,” which leaves them susceptible to lies.

This urgency calls believers to action, whether it is feeding a homeless person or moving to the front lines of global conflict, trusting God, who is faithful and true to all His promises.
