this is a man’s world and that song captured the attitude that most men had toward women matter of fact one of the common statements they made was know your place you all remember that and sometimes they told you where your place was where was that in the kitchen and in the bedroom in other words there were there was such a graphic negative attitude toward women by men that even when men had company over they told their wives to you know leave the room and this was in the western world we’re not talking about the east where
