God’s Blueprint for Restoration: From Broken Altars to Revival

When we look at 2 Coronicles 7:14, we know it says, “If my people,” you see, we are in this world, not of this world, but sent to the world. And it’s interesting because the last thing that Jesus says is, “All right, go make disciples. Go make learners. Go make learners. Go make disciples. Go into every nation. and I’m going to give you all power both in heaven and in earth.
-
And he tells us that we’re to go. But he also says something like this. Hey, you’re going to be like sheep that I’m going to send out among wolves. So into this ravenous world. A and we know that there are two kingdoms. The world system and God’s kingdom. And when Jesus came, he came to redeem man. But his main message was a message of kingdom.
-
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. So they’re two clashes of kingdoms and and we know that they are both grabbing for control. And you say, well, isn’t God and ultimate control? Of course, God’s sovereign. But God did some things like in the beginning, he gave man authority. He gave man dominion when he said, “Let man have dominion.” So he legally transferred that dominion over.
-
Now, we know there was high treason in the garden. We know that Jesus came and restored that. But we know we have to exercise through the word of God and the power of God in our life to see that dominion, that authority in this earth. It’s not like God just drops down and and and does it. God works through people.
-
In fact, you are collabor with Christ. He partners with you. And so if you’re just sitting around and waiting for the rapture, you’re you’re literally wasting your existence. God doesn’t want you just to sit. Faith is very active. you have a job to do for Jesus. So he says if my people which are called by my name. So God throughout his word his word is written to it’s not written to the world.
