God Keeps His Word: LIFT Daily Prayer: Day 175
-
H lot of news going on. Of course, as always, the world is just headlong racing toward toward the plan of God in all things. Every day, think about that. Every day, 5:00 a.m., good morning. Every day that you get up, you know, the scripture says that this is the day that the Lord has made.
-
That means a lot more than what we often give it thought. Um it’s not only this is the day that the Lord has made for you and I of course but this is the day that you that the Lord has made uh we will rejoice and be glad in it is um also a declaration of the sovereignty of God that time itself is moving um according to God’s plan. Yeah. But listen, that’s not our verse for today everybody.
-
Our verse for today is a very encouraging verse and of course the Bible is full of what this theme is and it’s Ezekiel 36 verse 24. Ezekiel 36 verse 24 and it says for I will take you Israel from among the nations that is of the world and gather you out of all countries and bring you into your own land. Ezekiel 36. I encourage you today. I know I encourage the church all the time to do this.
-
You’ll be all the wiser and all the safer for it if you read Ezekiel 36, 37, 38, and 39. Uh the Christian today should master those chapters because um it really speaks volumes of what God is doing in the earth right now. And it even answers what’s going on with the war in Israel right now. God is telling us in Ezekiel, the prophet Ezekiel, that when you read those chapters, he will say in the last days, he will say in the latter times or he he will say at the end of days.
-
This is the Lord speaking to Ezekiel about his land that he calls Israel and his people that he calls the Jews as individuals but Israel as a nation. And it’s a beautiful verse of promise and covenant. And the reason why I tell you that it’s beautiful is because this verse should give you the Christian incredible amounts of comfort and just great peace. And here’s the reason why.
