Faith To Win Every Battle (Full Sermon)

• Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus.  What a wonderful testimony we’ve just heard. It’s a true story by the way, and we thank God for all the actors and  the people that present it. But don’t forget it’s a true story because many of you are so used to watching Netflix and all that you think that’s a Netflix program is not okay. It happened to someone.  It’s a real life story.
• And what God did for this precious Wei Wei, He will do for you, God is no respect of persons.  Amen. Okay. If you have ever wondered if any of  you have never read the Bible and  you are wondering, I really want to read the Bible and I just wonder what the Bible is all okay? The Bible is all about Jesus.
• If you can think of the Bible  as a family photo album, those days they have photo album. Okay?  I know that. Now it’s all within this small hand.  You can hold it in your phone, but the Bible is nothing more than a picture album of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Every story in the Bible points to Jesus Christ. We have the story of David. Many of you’re familiar with the story of David, the young boy who killed Goliath.
• Now there’s a movie on I think, is it Netflix or Disney? Which one? Prime.  Prime, okay.  I’ve not watched it yet, but I was told that it is pretty good, but it’s called the House of David. Anyway,  it’s all coming back. The story of David.  I believe it’s by the design  of God to emphasize his story, but if you look at David, you find he’s a shepherd boy.  Our Lord Jesus identifies himself  as I am the good shepherd.
• The good shepherd gives his life for the ship. David was a boy when the predator like the lion or the bear would come for his flock for his sheep. He just didn’t sort of wash his hands of it and tell the father I was afraid to go. After all,  he’s only one lamb that the lion took away.
• He’s the shepherd boy that wrote, the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the steel waters. You see pictures of the pastoral  scene as a shepherd boy and  he knows the Lord is with him. Amen. When he’s out there in the field, he knows the Lord is with him.
• And because of that consciousness of the Lord being with him, no lion or bear can stand before him.  And that’s why when Goliath came right, David said this, the Lord that   delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the bear will deliver this philistine into my hand. Amen.  His confidence was in the Lord even  before the battle was settled before, even before he went into the fight. Right?  He knew the Lord would deliver him. He has a secret history with God.
• Amen. God was his friend.  God was his father, and  God doesn’t want to be a God so far away. He is like with all the Vics and difficulties of life that we are faced with. God is so far away and  we only go to church on Sunday to worship him and listen to the Bible being taught. No, no.  God wants to be involved in your daily life.
• There’s this beautiful verse in the Bible, and for those of you who never read the Bible,  I’m going to give you this  verse right now from Genesis,  I believe 39 or somewhere  along there it says this, and the Lord was with Joseph and  he was a successful man. But at the time when this was written about Joseph, Joseph was a slave in Egypt, and yet whatever he did as a slave,  the Bible says the Lord was with Joseph and he was a successful man in the King James, a prosperous man and whatever he did,  whatever a slave could do, God made it to prosper.
