We do have some major breaking news as we come on the air tonight because President Trump has now signed the Epstein files bill into law. The final step to force the Justice Department to turn over everything it has on Epstein within the next 30 days. part of the president’s lengthy statement, I I’ll read it here, where he said, quote, “Jeffrey Epstein, who was charged by the Trump Justice Department in 2019, not the Democrats, with an exclamation point, was a lifelong Democrat, donated thousands of dollars
to Democrat politicians, and was deeply associated with many well-known Democrat figures.” The president goes on to write, “Perhaps the truth about these Democrats and their associations with Jeffrey Epstein will soon be revealed because I have just signed the bill to release the Epstein files.
” All right, let’s start where America is buzzing. The US Senate, yes, the actual United States Senate did something unanimously. I know it seems impossible. I checked it three times. And the House of Representatives was almost unanimous. It was like 427 to one vote. one guy. They passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. They’re finally going to do it.
Ordering the Department of Justice to release every unclassified document, every communication, and every file related to Jeffrey Epstein. And they’re searchable. They’re downloadable. Um, and there’s no redactions due to politics or reputation. And here’s what really stands out to me about this. Not everybody’s excited about this.
Obviously, too many leaders in Washington on both sides of the aisle are nervous about what we’re going to see. And to be honest with you, I am too. Not because I know who’s on the list. I love transparency. I’m all for it. But sometimes I wonder if everybody’s actually ready for the full truth because once it comes out, you can’t put it back in, right? There’s no undo button once darkness finally gets exposed.
I mean, even Trump has pingponged on the issue for a little while. He was all for it. He campaigned on it. Then he was against it. There’s nothing to see here. And now he’s all for it again. I think it’s because evil this deep never attaches it itself to just one party. Sin is like mold and no political basement is totally dry. But here’s the thing that we as Christians understand.
