The Power of Consciousness in Energy, Health, and Gratitude

It’s fascinating how you discuss channeling energy from the lower centers in a constructive way. But here’s an interesting question—do you ever release it in the opposite direction, or is it always used productively? Of course, every human has their own experience, but ultimately, it all comes down to consciousness. The way you approach it makes all the difference.

Let’s have a mature discussion about this. Think about it—your state of consciousness determines how you interact with energy, whether in your physical, emotional, or spiritual life. For example, let’s focus on the second energy center before moving to the first one.

The Mind-Body Connection in Healing

I used to run a multidisciplinary clinic in the United States, where we treated over 100 patients per day. Many doctors in the community referred their patients to us, especially those dealing with chronic conditions. Unlike acute conditions—such as appendicitis or a broken bone, where traditional medicine works effectively—chronic conditions require a lifestyle transformation.

To heal, people need to change their habits. There are three types of stress: physical, chemical, and emotional. Likewise, there are three forms of balance: physical, chemical, and emotional. You need at least two of these to be stable before the third one naturally follows. For instance, if someone is more chemically balanced and physically strong, their emotional stability improves. Likewise, achieving emotional balance supports chemical and physical well-being.

The Hidden Impact of Rigidity and Fear

Many patients who visited my clinic followed extremely rigid diets. You’d expect them to be the healthiest, yet they often suffered from serious health issues. Why? Because beneath their need to control everything—including food—was deep-rooted fear.

Even if we gave them the best nutrients and supplements, their bodies wouldn’t absorb them properly. Fear and rigidity trigger survival mode, causing the cells to shut down. When this happens, cells don’t absorb nutrients, eliminate waste, secrete hormones, or communicate effectively. A stressed body cannot heal.

Now, consider the second energy center (linked to creativity and emotional expression). If a person eats a meal while feeling anxious or judgmental about their food, their body won’t metabolize nutrients efficiently. Their energy is blocked, preventing their body from functioning at its highest potential.

The Power of Gratitude in Eating

Have you ever wondered why people pray before meals? Taking a moment to express gratitude before eating does more than honor tradition—it activates the parasympathetic nervous system, putting the body in an ideal state for digestion. Gratitude shifts consciousness, allowing food to nourish not just the body, but also the spirit.

Now, add a little love to the table. When people come together in joy, gratitude, and connection, their state of consciousness enhances digestion. Sharing a meal with love, presence, and appreciation allows the body to metabolize food far more effectively than eating in stress or isolation. Would you agree?

Of course, making healthy food choices is still essential. But your mindset and emotional state while eating are just as important.

Love vs. Lust: The First Energy Center

Now, let’s talk about the first energy center, since you asked. If you’re going to exchange energy with another person, wouldn’t it be best to do so with love and intention rather than through lust?

When intimacy comes from a place of genuine love and giving, it strengthens the bond between two people, creating a deep energetic connection. On the other hand, engaging from a place of lust often leads to a “sexual hangover”—that drained feeling that follows an exchange without true connection.

The key is intention. When two people come together with conscious awareness and purpose, the experience becomes transformative. It’s not just about physical connection—it’s about energy, love, and mutual exchange, creating something truly meaningful.
