Declaring the End From The Beginning – Citizenship in the Kingdom
To live a life defined by miracles and supernatural victory, believers must adopt a divine mindset: declaring the end from the beginning. This principle is the key to activating faith, enduring hardship with joy, and receiving the wisdom necessary to dominate the world system.
The foundational premise is simple: The way believers get things done is by faith. Faith is distinct from human effort or emotion; it is only moved by the Word of God and is never swayed by present feelings or current circumstances.
Modeling God: The Power of Declaration
God operates by declaring the desired outcome before it is physically manifest, illustrating the power of declaring the end from the beginning.
- Creation through Word: When God declared, “Let there be light,” light immediately existed. This power stems from the fact that the light was first resident in God before He spoke it out. By acting like God and declaring the end from the beginning, believers align themselves to see God’s works and miracles.
- Imitating Divine Action: Believers are commanded to declare their desired end. This involves accessing the promises found in the Bible—recognizing that there is a promise for every problem—and articulating that promised outcome.
The Blueprint of Destiny: Seeing the End to Endure
God shows believers things to come so that, when they encounter trials, they can move through them with joy. Seeing the end—a process known as revelation—is crucial for maintaining stability and ensuring promotion.
The Example of Jesus and Joseph
The lives of Jesus Christ and Joseph serve as powerful examples of enduring shame and trial by maintaining focus on the promised end:
- Jesus’ Joyful Endurance: Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, endured the cross and despised the shame specifically for the joy that was set before Him. He saw beyond the current suffering (being whipped, shamed, and naked on the cross) to the ultimate outcome: His resurrection, His seating at the right hand of the throne of God, and the redemption of humanity.
- Joseph’s Unwavering Hope: Joseph was shown his destiny (ruling over his family) through dreams at the beginning of his life. This vision allowed him to withstand extreme adversity, including being sold into slavery, being unjustly accused by Potiphar’s wife, and being sentenced to prison. Joseph’s certainty of his future was so strong that he could ask fellow prisoners why they were sad, because Joseph saw the end.
Promotion Through Performance
Joseph’s story demonstrates that when a person has the necessary substance or “goods,” they will be promoted, regardless of prejudicial barriers like being a Jew, black, or a woman. The shift from merely protesting discrimination to performance (manifesting divine wisdom and results) leads to promotion.
The Battle for Imagination: Casting Down Strongholds
The spiritual battle is often fought in the realm of the mind and imagination. The devil’s strategy is to get believers to see negative outcomes, such as sickness, marital failure, or lack.
- Weapons of Warfare: Believers do not wage war using carnal (fleshly) weapons. The weapons of warfare are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds.
- Casting Down Imagination: A crucial weapon is the ability to cast down imaginations—negative thoughts or pictures the enemy attempts to plant.
- Kingdom Citizenship and Legal Authority: As a Kingdom citizen, if a negative thought or word is not found in the “book” (the Bible, representing the Kingdom’s constitution), it is not legal for you to speak it. Believers must speak their constitution.
Activating Miracles and Higher Wisdom
Miracles are not magic or “hocus pocus”; they are based on spiritual laws. These miracles are essential because they convince people that Jesus is alive. To access this supernatural realm, believers must think higher and cooperate with the Holy Spirit.
The Role of the Holy Spirit as Partner
The Holy Spirit is the believer’s helper and partner. He seeks more responsibility and will show you things before they happen.
- Specific Direction: The Holy Spirit often provides supernatural direction that contradicts natural wisdom. For example, when praying for a man with a back injury, God instructed the minister to pray from the back, placing a hand in the “pit of his back,” rather than the front. This obedience to the specific, revealed instruction resulted in the man being healed despite having multiple prior surgeries.
- Thinking Higher: God’s thoughts and ways are higher than your ways. For a believer to reach the heights God intends, they need help to see what they naturally cannot. When the Holy Spirit shows a vision or instruction, the believer must grab it and write it down.
