Let’s Pray for YOUR Healing and Deliverance

David Diga Hernandez leads a powerful moment of prayer focused on experiencing the transforming presence and power of the Holy Spirit. The ministry emphasizes that a single encounter with the Holy Spirit can forever change a life. This teaching serves to encourage believers to step out in faith to receive the prayers offered, reminding them that the Lord makes a way where there seems to be no way.

The core prayer points covered include healing, deliverance, guidance, the salvation of loved ones, and financial breakthrough.

1. Supernatural Healing Through Jesus, The Only Healer

The first area of prayer focuses on healing. Jesus is acknowledged as the only healer, and to Him belongs all the glory and praise for every healing miracle.

The Authority of God’s Word

Healing is rooted in the mercy of the Lord, who forgives all sins and heals all diseases (Psalm 103:3). Believers are encouraged to remember that no miracle is too big or too small for God.

The prayer invokes the same healing virtue that flowed through Jesus’ body to flow now, emphasizing that time and distance are not limitations to God. The power of the Holy Spirit is present to heal.

Specific Healing Declarations

Specific illnesses and afflictions are addressed and commanded to lose their hold in the name of Jesus.

  • Blood and Organ Issues: Prayer is offered for the healing of sicknesses of the blood, heart issues, and problems with the brain.
  • Musculoskeletal System: Healing virtue is prayed for to touch and mend broken bones, weak bones, injured ligaments, and strained muscles. Every cell is commanded to align with the will of the Father.
  • Nerve and Sensation Damage: Paralysis, numbness, and nerve damage are rebuked, commanding feeling and strength to return to the body. Symptoms like pins and needles are canceled.
  • Skin and Hair: Skin diseases, rashes, itchiness, and disorders of all kinds are prayed against, including alopecia, that the skin would become like new.
  • Sight and Hearing: Partial or total blindness, blurriness, pain in the eye, cataracts, fogginess, and spots in the vision are rebuked. Hearing problems, whether partial or total hearing loss, are addressed, asking God (He who formed the eye and ear) to open them.
  • Speech: Issues with speech, including stuttering and the inability to speak completely, are prayed against, asking the Lord to loose the tongue.

As the prayer is offered, some attendees reportedly sense a heat or an electricity flowing through their body, which is identified as the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

2. Total Deliverance and Breaking Chains of Bondage

The second prayer point focuses on total freedom and deliverance. The scripture (Acts 10:38) is cited, stating that Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the devil. The presence of the Lord’s Spirit brings perfect liberty.

Attacks on the Mind and Emotions

Deliverance is sought from longstanding demonic harassment, torment of the mind, and the inability to overcome sinful habits or addictions.

  • Heaviness and Fatigue: The attack of the enemy causing oppressive fatigue, being especially tired, drained, or experiencing a “mind fog,” is rebuked. The prayer requests that divine life and vibrancy energize the spirit, bringing back joy, laughter, strength, and focus.
  • Fear and Anxiety: The spirit of fear—including fear of death, disease, loss, rejection, pain, harm, and the future—is rebuked. The strategy where the mind immediately goes to the worst-case scenario is identified as a demonic lie. The fruit of the Spirit, peace, is prayed for to flood the being, pushing away fear and restoring boldness.
  • Intrusive Thoughts: Intrusive, nagging, persistent thoughts (lustful, blasphemous, hateful, or self-critical) that bombard the mind are rebuked. The lie that causes believers to doubt their control over their thoughts is broken, affirming the power to choose their thoughts.
  • Past Trauma: Deliverance is prayed for from past traumas, which require breaking negative mindsets, deception, and patterns of living. Believers are reminded to give their burden to Jesus, who wants to lift the difficult things they have carried since childhood.

Addictions and Overcoming Discouragement

Specific addictions (pornography, alcohol, drugs, and food addiction) are addressed, and chains of bondage are broken. For those discouraged by repeated failures, the prayer seeks grace to succeed and an anointing to finally overcome the habit or addiction.

3. Divine Guidance and Clear Instructions

The third prayer point is for guidance and clarity, particularly for those living in confusion or wondering about the future. Proverbs 3:5-6 is cited, instructing believers to trust in the Lord with all their heart and seek His will, and He will show them which path to take.

Areas of Guidance

The prayer covers various areas where divine direction is needed:

  • Relationships: Guidance in marriage, discernment regarding current connections, and finding a godly spouse are requested. Divine connections with the right people and divine disconnections from those who should be separated are prayed for. Emotion is asked to be calmed so the spirit might speak.
  • Future Seasons: Clarity is sought for next steps in ministry, career, and life seasons. Confirmation, right sermons, prophetic words, dreams, and visions are asked for to align lives with God’s will.
  • Ministry and Academic Pursuits: Encouragement is prayed for ministry leaders who feel discouraged or doubt their calling, reminding them that fulfillment depends on God’s power. Students are prayed for to receive wisdom for career paths, studies, school choices, and assignments, asking for sharpness of mind and removal of unnecessary pressure, guilt, or identity wrapped up in academic success.
  • Location: Specific guidance is sought for those considering moving out of state or even out of the country.

4. Salvation of Loved Ones and Intercession

The fourth prayer point is the salvation of loved ones, drawing on Apostle Paul’s persistent prayer for Israel’s salvation (Romans 10:1). This demonstrates that prayers can help bring people to salvation.

  • Praying for the Impossible: Believers are encouraged to pray for stubborn loved ones, even if they mock or seem to hate the Lord, because God is the God of the impossible.
  • Specific Requests: The prayer asks God to turn Sauls into Pauls (those vehemently against God to be turned toward Him). It asks the Lord to visit them through dreams and visions and bring divine connections to guide them closer to Jesus.
  • Conviction and Emptiness: Prayers are made for God to deeply convict them of sin and remove the pleasure of worldly living, causing them to come up empty each time they seek fulfillment in the world. The Holy Spirit is asked to remind them of their mortality and the reality of eternity.

5. Financial Breakthrough and Debt Cancellation

The final major prayer point is for financial breakthrough, noting that while believers do not serve God to “get from him,” it is biblical for God to bless His people financially.

  • Seeking the Kingdom: The promise is emphasized that if believers seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first, “all these things” (material needs) shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). The Lord will provide.
  • Repentance and Stewardship: Before asking for blessing, the prayer calls for repentance from ungodly spending habits, mismanaging God’s finances, jealousy, covetousness, and greed. Hearts of generosity, selflessness, and gratitude are requested.
  • Provision and Increase: Prayer is made for miracle debt cancellation, coupled with the discipline needed to come out of debt. Unexpected resources are requested to turn financial situations around.
  • Diligent Work and Favor: Believers commit to working diligently, consistently, reliably, and excellently as unto the Lord, expecting favor, raises, and increase. Provision is prayed for basic necessities like utilities, groceries, and gas.
  • Business and Ministry: Increased revenue is requested for businesses and ministries, with favor granted as people make a habit of giving to the gospel.
  • Finding Shelter: Specific prayer is offered for those struggling to find a home or place to live, asking God to bring favor and opportunities and provide that house in Jesus’ name.
