Hey, welcome everybody to the weekly wrap-up of the Kirk Cameron Show. There’s so many things going on all of the time. I don’t have a chance to sit down and watch the news. I try not to scroll through social media feeds, but the things that everyone are talking about is stuff that I want to help you to process and understand what’s valuable from my perspective to talk about with your kids and how this can give us hope and courage about the world that we live in. James, roll the video.
We begin this morning with some sad news. Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that spread to his bones. According to a statement from his personal office, Mr. Biden was seen after experiencing urinary symptoms, which led doctors to find a prostate nodule.
The statement goes on to say that the cancer appears to be hormone sensitive, which allows for effective management. The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians. It’s a shocking thing and a sobering thing whenever anyone is diagnosed with cancer, particularly an aggressive form of cancer like former President Biden has.
Uh there’s a Gleon score showing aggressiveness from 0 to 10. He’s at a nine. I have dear family members who have been diagnosed with cancer and those who have passed away from cancer. And while many are are trying to figure out whether or not the White House hid the diagnosis since the last time he had a prostate exam was allegedly in 2014.
Why would you wait that long at at you know in your late ‘7s? What is important is that we do what the scriptures say and we pray for the sick. There are many things that Joe Biden believes and policies implemented that I completely disagree with. However, I’m called to pray for all people.
Jesus says, “Don’t just pray for those who think like you think and and love those who love you.” He said, “Love your enemies.” And God sends the sun to shine on the the good and the wicked and sends rain to water the crops of the righteous and and the unrighteous. And so, it is an obligation for me as a Christian to pray for Joe Biden.
