I don’t think that emotional intensity equates to spiritual maturity. Just because your hands are higher than the guy next to you, just because you’re crying on the floor and he’s not, doesn’t mean that the guy who’s crying is more spiritually mature. Has the evangelical church encouraged men to be stronger or just more emotional? That’s what we’re going to be talking about today.
