You have to say, I am a child of God. I am holy in him. I am more than a conqueror in him. I am an overcomer in him. I am bound for triumph. He will always lead me to victory in him. And that’s what I’m going to go with. And if you’re not seeing it, it’s cuz you’re not going with it. So, you have to hold to what God says.
[Music] [Applause] Abraham was chosen. They say they’re chosen people. Abraham was chosen. You may not in your life have had the feeling ever of being chosen. You may have been rejected. You may be the one who’s always left out. It doesn’t matter. The world may not choose you. It doesn’t matter.
But God here is saying if you’re a born again, you’re a child of Abraham. You are chosen of God. He actually chose you. Now, there’s a mystery here. We’re not going to get into it. The mystery of predestination and free will doesn’t matter. Both are true. But God chose you. Anyone who wants to be born again, who wants to be saved can be. But God chose you.
That’s also part of the mystery. Think about it. The God of the universe chose you before the foundation of the world. That’s amazing. And so, nobody has to choose you after that. Nobody has to even accept you after that. It’s enough. You are accepted. You are more than accepted. You’re chosen. >> So, how should you live? Like one who is chosen by God.
Like the prophets were chosen. Imagine you were the pro. Imagine you get a call. You have an angel appears to you and that’s going to change your life. You’re going to live, “Wow, I’m chosen.” Well, you are chosen. You might not see the angel or not. You’re chosen just as much as Isaiah was chosen. What else about you, child of Abraham? There was not just a choosing of Abraham.
There was a call upon his life. Abraham wasn’t just chosen. He was called literally by a voice. We don’t know if he heard We don’t know if he just heard this voice, if he saw God. At one point, he did see God. He saw a a a manifestation of God, but he was actually he was called to go forth from where he was.
