Morning Prayer: Beginning the Day with Faith

As the morning sun rises, I come before you with a heart full of gratitude for your endless love and care. Thank you for the gift of this morning, for the opportunity to rise and greet the day with hope and expectation.

Lord, I surrender this day into your loving hands, trusting in your wisdom and guidance to lead me along the path you have set before me. May your word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Guide me in the way of righteousness. Protect me from harm, Lord, and surround me with your angels to guard me in all my ways.

May your peace reign in my heart even in the midst of life’s storms. Grant me wisdom, Lord, to make choices that honor you and bring glory to your name. May your spirit fill me with strength and courage as I face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Help me to be mindful of your presence with me throughout this day. Open my eyes to see your hand at work in the world around me and give me a heart of compassion to reach out to those in need.
