Lord, Go Before Me Today
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You at the beginning of this new day with a grateful and humble heart. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and for the quiet grace that meets me as this morning begins. Thank You for carrying me through the night, for watching over my home, and for surrounding me with Your mercy even before I spoke a word.
Today, I choose to begin not in hurry or worry, but in Your presence. I place every moment of this day into Your loving hands. Father, I acknowledge that I need You in every part of my life. I need Your guidance to lead me, Your strength to sustain me, and Your wisdom to help me walk with integrity and clarity. I invite You to direct my steps, shape my thoughts, and guard my heart.
Remove anything within me that does not reflect Your will, and renew within me a spirit that longs to honor You in all things. Let my actions today be rooted in love, patience, and trust in You. Your Word reminds me:
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.”

Thank You, Father, for the new mercies that meet me today.
No matter what yesterday held, today begins under the covering of Your faithfulness. Help me receive these mercies fully and walk forward without fear, regret, or heaviness from the past. Your Word also teaches me:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6
Lord, today I choose to trust You even when I do not understand the road ahead. Help me lean on You rather than my own reasoning. Align my plans with Your will and lead me along paths that bring peace and purpose. Lord Jesus, I welcome Your presence into my heart this morning.
You are my refuge and my rest. Quiet my anxious thoughts and calm the places within me that feel unsettled. When challenges arise, help me respond with faith rather than fear. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind, steady my emotions, and become the foundation from which I face this day. May Your presence continually remind me that I am never alone.
Father, I ask for Your healing and renewal to flow through every area of my life. Heal the parts of my heart that feel tired, discouraged, or wounded. Restore my strength where I feel weak, and renew my hope where it has been stretched thin. Touch my body, my mind, and my spirit with Your restoring power.
Let today mark a step toward wholeness, renewal, and deeper trust in You. I lift up my family and loved ones to You this morning. Place Your protection around them and guide them in all they do. Meet their needs, strengthen their faith, and fill their homes with Your peace. Draw us closer together in love and closer to You in devotion.
