Your Miracle Opportunity – Becoming Miracle Minded Vol 2
To achieve breakthrough and live the destiny God intended, believers must cultivate a “miracle minded” perspective. This mindset necessitates rejecting the constraints of the natural world and stepping into a realm where supernatural acts of God override time, space, and matter. Miracles are not relics of the past; they are proof that Jesus lived and is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The Core Obstacle: Confronting and Conquering Fear
The greatest barrier preventing believers from receiving God’s promises—including riches, honor, strength, long life, and blessing—is fear. Fear must be attacked and eliminated because it is the “fear devil” that has kept God’s people from their destiny for most of their lives.
- Fear Blocks Manifestation: Most believers are standing right at the door of God’s promises, and only fear is keeping them from going through it. Jesus went through His suffering and resurrection with no fear, because fear would have stopped the miracle.
- The Evil Report: Fear spreads, acting like the evil report that kept the Israelites from entering the land of Canaan.
- Satan the Bully: Satan is nothing but a bully. He roars around like a lion, but he is not a lion anymore because his teeth have been knocked out, and he can only try to “gum you”. Believers must turn and face their fears.
- A Call to Courage: Believers are called an overcomer. They must declare, “I am fearless” and “I’m strong and very courageous in Jesus name”.
Cultivating a Miracle Mindset: Faith, Expectation, and Confession
A miracle mindset involves deliberately adjusting one’s thinking, speaking, and expectations to align with God’s limitless power.
- Stop Thinking Time: Miracles have no time. Time is necessary for treatments, but miracles are instant.
- Embrace Crazy Faith: When a believer receives a miracle, they develop “crazy faith”. This faith causes them to start saying, doing, and expecting things that nobody else thinks can happen.
- Expectation is Key: Expectation is what makes miracles happen. Believers should be expecting something: miracle money, healing, or a job.
- Believe the Abundant: God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you can ask or think. If you can think it, you can have it.
- Declare Your Provision: Believers can declare their specific financial needs, even determining the denomination of the miracle money they expect. They should discard the scarcity mentality associated with small amounts, recognizing they “can’t do nothing with a $1 bill”.
The Power of Resurrection: Healing and Restoration
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the ultimate demonstration of God’s miracle-working power and serves as the guarantee for the believer’s complete restoration.
- Quicken Your Mortal Body: The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in believers and shall also quicken (make alive, heal, restore, replenish) their mortal body.
- Bodily Resurrection: Jesus’ resurrection was a bodily resurrection. He came out of the tomb with the same body, which had been beaten and emaciated, but was now fully restored.
- No Trace of Sickness: The resurrection power can take whatever is wrong with the body and heal it, leaving no trace that anything ever happened to it. Scientific solutions might leave a trace, but resurrection power does not.
- The Command to Raise the Dead: Jesus instructed the disciples to heal the sick, cleanse the leper, and raise the dead. Believers should expect to see the dead raised.
Operating in Superiority Consciousness
To allow God’s power to flow freely, believers must establish a superiority consciousness and eliminate guilt and shame.
- Know You Are Forgiven: Believers must know that they are forgiven and not inferior to any man or woman. Carrying around guilt and shame blocks the miracle-working power.
- Christ’s Mindset: Jesus did not see himself inferior to storms, lack, disease, or death. Believers must adopt the mind that was also in Christ Jesus.
- See Yourself as God Sees You: Start with the image in mind. God sees believers as His son and as a governor of the earth.
- Bigger Than the Challenge: No opportunity or challenge is too expensive or too big; the believer is bigger than the circumstance.
