The current global shaking and fierce war season are paralleled by an ancient biblical siege on Jerusalem in 690 BC. This historical context reveals the timeless strategies of the enemy and the power of God’s prophetic promise.

The Enemy’s Tactics: History Repeating Itself

The current Siege of Hell is driven by demonic ideology, revealing demon powers, Thrones of evil, and rulers of Darkness behind horrible atrocities and wicked regimes.

• Assyrian Blueprint: The siege on Jerusalem by the ruthless Assyrians under King Sennacherib (Sarb) in 700 BC serves as the historical backdrop. The Assyrians were notorious for their brutality, cruelty, and use of torture as an intimidating weapon, tactics which modern-day groups like Isis and Hamas employ, and which were studied by leaders like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
• Demon Ideology: The hatred and violence witnessed today are fundamentally demonic, stirred by Thrones of Darkness, principalities, and powers of hell.
• Specific Thrones: The demon Prince of ancient Babylon/Persia/Iran is still active and must be battled and overthrown.
• Intimidation: Sarb’s armies used cruelty, such as impaling poles, to demoralize and dominate, causing nations to surrender without a fight. This tactic is similar in principle to modern atrocities like beheading a baby.

The Siege on Jerusalem (690 BC)

King Hezekiah of Judah, a righteous king, faced Sarb’s army after they conquered the apostate northern kingdom of Israel.

• Desperation: Jerusalem was surrounded by 260,000 Assyrian Warriors for two very long years, leading to desperate and famine conditions where many starved.
• Insults and Propaganda: Sarb’s military leaders used letters and loud insults to shout propaganda over the walls, attempting to break the people’s faith, saying that God would not save them and had sent Sarb to destroy them.
• New Weapons: Towards the end of the siege, the Assyrians introduced terrifying new weapons specifically developed for Jerusalem: the Catapult (throwing massive boulders) and Towers (mobile siege stairs).

II. The Prophecy of the War Eagles: Riding the Presence

It was in this moment of extreme discouragement and seemingly impossible odds that God spoke a profound prophetic word through the Prophet Isaiah, using a failed enemy tactic.

The Failed Enemy Tactic and Divine Response

Sarb’s army introduced a failed weapon: 700 highly trained Himalayan golden eagles with metal weights tied to their legs, intended to terrorize and hunt the besieged population. God used the image of these eagles to speak a promise to King Hezekiah.

• The War Eagles Promise: Isaiah 40:31 was given when Sarb’s eagles helped besiege the city. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint”.
• “Wait” Means “Braid”: The Hebrew word for “wait” is quava, which is poorly translated as “just wait” or “be patient.” It means to “bind together by twisting” or “braid”.
• The Command: God commanded Hezekiah to “wrap yourself to God,” “braid yourself to him,” and “tie yourself to the talons of God”. By wrapping to God, he would become one of God’s War Eagles.
• Superior Power: God declared that His Eagle Brigade is stronger, more powerful, and faster than the enemy’s forces, promising to carry them up on Eagle wings and reoxygenate their strength.

The Unique Eagle Force

God is releasing an incredible Warrior force—multi-generations of Warriors called the War Eagles—who are being groomed and reserved for this present Siege of Earth.

• Mission and Mandate: This unique Eagle force will confound the world. They will ride the waves of God’s amplified presence and glory, enforcing God’s purpose and plans to extend His Kingdom throughout the Earth realm.
• Anointing: They will rise with an Apostolic and prophetic mantle upon them, going forth as healers, deliverers, and Truth bearers.
• Partnership: The War Eagles will partner with Angel Armies, Seraphim, Michael, and Gabriel, led by the Lord Saboath (Lord of Hosts). Angels are released to ride with them.

The Call to Action and Battle

The War Eagles are commanded to engage aggressively in the spiritual battle and declare a reset.

• Fearless Engagement: They will not bow to demon threats, government threats, or cultural threats; they will not pay ransom; and they will not listen to propaganda or insults.
• Demolishing Strongholds: They will catapult into demonic blockades and break them to pieces, shatter the Gates of Hell, tear down the altars of Baal, and destroy the serpent poles.
• Terrorizing Hell: This unique Eagle force will be “terrifying splendor”—terrifying hell’s regimes because they ride in God’s presence.
• Supernatural Victory: Following Isaiah’s prophecy, God brought one of the fiercest judgments in history almost overnight against Sarb’s army, killing 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. This demonstrates that no weapon formed against the War Eagles will prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned.
