Don’t Be A Copy – Living From The Inside Out
The foundation of a successful Christian life is faith, which serves as the holder of your destiny. This supernatural force is the key to accessing the divine provision and victory that God has already prepared for every believer, enabling them to live independently of the world’s failing systems.
The Power of Expectation and Immediate Miracles
To walk in faith, believers must actively cultivate a high level of expectation.
Expectation Fuels Faith
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, earnestly expected. When reliance is placed solely on God, frustration is eliminated, as expectation is from Him. If God is not the only source of expectation, the result will be frustration.
The message emphasizes that believers should anticipate immediate results, not delayed gratification:
- When discussing miracles, one is talking about something that is going to happen right now.
- Believers should expect to receive power (dunamis), miracle working abilities.
- Whatever Satan has been holding back in a person’s life is going to be released at this conference.
A powerful historical example is Peter, who attended what is described as his “first faith conference” and experienced a total reversal of his financial condition in one meeting. This financial breakthrough resulted in a catch of fish that was much more than one year’s catch. God is no respecter of persons, meaning what He did for Peter, He will do for others.
Overcoming the Spirits of Fear
A major obstacle to accessing one’s inheritance is fear. The Hittites symbolize spirits of fear. Their mission is to put fear in people to prevent them from touching the opportunities God provides.
- Your stuff is on the other side of your fear.
- These spirits, along with six others (Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, Jebusites, and sometimes “parasites”), are designed to keep people from their inheritance.
- The Perizzites specifically represent a spirit of smallness sent to make people think small.
The Mandate: Dominion and Inheritance
Believers are joint heirs with Christ, who has inherited all things. This earth is part of the believer’s inheritance.
Reigning as Kings
Those who receive the abundance of grace and of the free gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. This means reigning as kings.
- A king lives by decree.
- Decree is a judicial term meaning to legislate, resolve by sentence, order, or make law.
The Need for Desire
To enter into this inheritance, believers must cultivate desire. Jesus approached the man at the Pool of Bethesda, who had been there for 38 years, and asked, “Do you want to be made whole?“. The man’s reply indicated his focus was on his inability to get into the pool, which Jesus addressed by commanding him to rise and walk.
- The desire of the righteous shall be granted.
- Desire is not casual; it is next to craving (“I got to have my healing, I got to have my deliverance”).
- God uses the revelation of the abundant harvest (like the grapes from the Promised Land) to get the desire up in people so they will want to go in and possess their inheritance.
Your Unique, Custom-Made Identity
Believers must recognize their inherent value and unique design, moving away from imitation or self-deprecation.
One of a Kind
You were chosen by God before the foundation of the world. God knew the end from the beginning and chose you regardless of any trouble or failure you might encounter.
- God custom made you; you were not mass-produced.
- You are one of a kind; nobody else in the world, all the way back to Adam and Eve, has what you have, as demonstrated by your unique fingerprints.
- God does not make anything without value. You are extremely valuable.
- Believers should reject the mentality of being “born unique but die a copy” by trying to imitate others.
Seeing Yourself as God Sees You
When individuals see themselves as God sees them (in His image and likeness), it becomes easy to do the things that God’s called us to do.
- The failure to do God’s Word is partly due to how we see ourselves.
- The devil’s strategy is to make you see yourself as “somebody else” or as a “grasshopper,” as the unbelieving spies did in the Promised Land. They weren’t grasshoppers.
When believers hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord and obey His commandments, God will set them high above all nations of the earth, making them the most famous and most important nation on earth. God promises to bless them abundantly, make their name great and distinguished, and make them a source of great good to others.
