Trust GOD For Divine Victory – Living From Faith to Faith
The foundation of a victorious Christian life is faith, which serves as the holder of your destiny. Without the application of faith, believers have not received much of what rightfully belongs to them, regardless of how they live. Faith is a gift imparted by God, enabling believers to achieve the plans and destiny He has orchestrated for their lives.
This powerful teaching series, “Living from Faith to Faith,” is designed to elevate and strengthen faith, empowering believers to live out God’s best.
The Joshua Generation: Taking Back Your Destiny
Believers are characterized as the Joshua generation. This generation is ordained to move into the spiritual “land” and take back everything that Jesus died to provide. This provision is referred to as “stuff” that already belongs to the believer, independent of constant toil or human effort.
God has already provided the dominion, declaring: “Every place that the soul of your foot shall tread upon, that have given you”. This includes moving into the territory of the Hittites.
Conquering the Spirit of Terror (Hittites)
The term “Hittites” is connected to the spiritual indication of fear and terror. The enemy uses fear and terrorism to frighten and deter people.
The promise to the Joshua generation is that “There shall not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life”. While terrorism may be rising in the Earth, the manifestation of the sons of God will also be rising. Jesus commanded believers to “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”.
Discovering Provision in the Impossible
The blessings and provision promised by God—the believer’s “stuff”—are often located in the realm of the impossible.
- When the spies entered the Promised Land, they saw giants sitting on the stuff, declaring, “we can’t do it”—meaning it was impossible.
- However, those with faith stated, “Let us go up at once and possess it, for we are well able to overcome it”.
- When faced with an impossible diagnosis or circumstance (like a doctor declaring “no hope”), the response must be: “Bread comes with this”.
Do Bread Come With This? Claiming All Your Benefits
It is crucial for believers to remember “all His benefits” and not to forget them. The common question, “Do bread come with this?” serves as a reminder that salvation includes comprehensive provision.
When a person gets saved, “bread comes with it”. This “bread” represents wealth and provision that should not be left behind. The ultimate goal is not just to “get saved and get comfortable” but to access the comprehensive blessings God has provided, as He is a God who is “more than enough”.
Believers are meant to demonstrate their divine heritage, causing the world to see their “good works” and “glorify your Father”. People will see something in the believer and ask where it came from, providing an opportunity to share the saving message of Jesus.
The Protection of the Hedge and Spiritual Defense
A critical benefit that should not be forgotten is the divine hedge (or fence) God places around the righteous. The devil himself acknowledged this protection around Job, his house, and all that he hath on every side.
This fence is not just around the individual, but also around their house and children, even if they are physically far away.
Maintaining the Hedge Through Intercession
When Job experienced calamity, it implied the hedge somehow came down, connecting him to the results of fear. Job later confessed, “The thing which I greatly feared has come upon me”. Fear connects a person with death and Satan, the author of death, while faith connects them with life and God.
The believer’s responsibility is to stand in the gap and make up the hedge. Even when children are not acting right, the parent has the authority to make up the hedge for them through intercession.
The Power of Decree and Authority
Children are considered a heritage of the Lord, and the believer holds authority over their lives. They are likened to “arrows in the hand of the mighty”. This means believers have the authority to shoot their child like an arrow, decreeing things over their destiny.
- Job 22 states that a person “can decree a thing and it shall be established”.
- The example of Evie Hill’s mother demonstrates this power: despite having no money, she continually decreed that her son was going to school, which activated faith for a four-year, fully paid scholarship.
The faith walk is the holder of destiny not only for the believer but also for their family.
Divine Peace: Reclaiming a Critical Benefit
One key piece of provision that believers must take back is divine peace. This is described as perfect peace—the peace that passes all understanding.
This peace should be so powerful that:
- It remains in the house even when everyone else is shaken by terrorism.
- It affects and stabilizes everyone around the believer when they walk into an office or room.
Job lost his peace, resulting in trouble coming upon him. The spiritual lesson is to learn from Job and not allow one’s faith to wane, which can cause the hedge to come down.
