Welcome to KCMI TV, and thank you for joining me today. I want to discuss a topic that is often mentioned but not always fully understood—yet it is central to our lives, whether we are believers or not. Today, I want to talk to you about the peace of God.
During my Bible reading a few days ago, a particular verse stood out to me in a way I had never seen before. It reminded me of the overwhelming unrest that fills the world today. In fact, the book of Revelation reveals that one of the enemy’s key strategies is to remove peace from the earth.
If we look at Luke 2, we see the angels proclaiming the birth of Jesus, declaring:
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”
For the first time since the fall of man, a supernatural peace was being restored to the world. The Bible calls Jesus the King of Peace, and in Isaiah 9:6, the prophet foretells His coming, saying:
“He shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.”
Meanwhile, the Bible refers to the enemy as the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2). He operates in the spiritual realm between heaven and earth, sowing unrest and fear across the world.
Today, many people struggle with a lack of peace—believers and unbelievers alike. Anxiety and depression have reached alarming levels, leading many to seek medical intervention just to make it through the day.
