You’re watching KCMI TV, and I’m glad you’re joining me today. We want to start this podcast with a message from the book of Jude. This book has only one chapter, and we’ll focus on verse 23. But before we dive in, I’d like to set the tone for today’s discussion. I believe we are entering into the final harvest—the last days when God is gathering His children to join Him at His table in eternal fellowship.

In light of this, I feel many souls will come into the Kingdom of the Lord in the coming years. Now, let’s look at Jude chapter 1, starting with verse 21. It says, “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Then, in verse 22, it says, “And some have compassion, making a difference.” But verse 23 is the one I want to draw your attention to: “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garments spotted by the flesh.”

This really spoke to me—God is calling believers to reach into the fire and pull people out. In our natural state, we are not designed to touch fire. The moment we do, it harms our bodies, leaving scars or causing pain. But to reach into the fire spiritually requires God’s supernatural ability.

The Bible tells us that hell was never intended for people; it was created for the devil and his angels. Yet, the enemy seeks to destroy souls with the fire of sin and death. However, Jude prophesies that believers will have the power to pull these souls out of the fire. As I reflected on this, I thought about how impossible this seems—after all, reaching into fire could destroy us.
