As I sat here tonight, I began to hear the Lord speaking over our church. God said, “I did not resurrect Resting Place—I have birthed Regeneration Nashville.” The Lord declared that He had been waiting until we entered this building to begin releasing His divine purpose.
Then, God gave this building a name: “Hospital.” He said there are two reasons for this name. First, just as newborns are delivered in hospitals, this past Sunday marked the birth of something new—His divine purpose in this house. Second, hospitals are places of healing, and the Lord said, “I will bring in the bruised, the broken, and the sick, and by My Spirit, I will heal them.”
Unlike earthly hospitals, which have morgues, the Lord proclaimed, “There is no morgue in this house, because this is a place of life. Death has no place here.” God said that what we are stepping into will consume our lives. Whereas people have traditionally built churches around their lives, the Lord is now calling us to build our lives around the church.
As I look around tonight, witnessing what God has already done on this first Wednesday, the Lord reminded me of something people often say: “Midweek services can never be the most powerful or the best attended.” But God declared, “I have removed you from the limitations set by men concerning My movement.” Get ready, because it does not matter what day or what service—it only matters that My Spirit dwells in this house.
