A Journey Through the Leonard Ravenhill Library: A Treasure Trove of Faith and Revival

My friend Jeremiah Johnson recently took me on an unforgettable visit to the Leonard Ravenhill Library. As we stepped into the private collection, I had the privilege of exploring rare and out-of-print works by Leonard Ravenhill and other great men and women of God. Jeremiah showed me some extraordinary books—priceless spiritual treasures filled with wisdom and revelation.

Among the collection, I discovered classics like The Miracles of Our Lord by Charles Spurgeon and an original 1909 edition of Leonard Ravenhill’s works. Seeing books over a century old, preserved in this sacred space, was simply awe-inspiring. Then, there it was—John Wesley’s 53 Sermons, a foundational text for so many believers. I could spend hours in this library, completely immersed in these powerful writings.

(00:43) Jeremiah then handed me a very special book—Looking Unto Jesus by Isaac Ambrose. He explained that this was the very first book Ravenhill would recommend to anyone seeking spiritual growth. In fact, every visitor was expected to read it first. Since there was only one copy available, Jeremiah graciously gifted it to me. I was deeply honored.
