When man turns away from God or America, he will end up worshiping the works of his hands. He will worship his own. He will serve his own technology. Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. And they served Bales, the Baales. They forsook the Lord their God of their fathers who brought them out of the land of Egypt.
They followed other gods from among the gods of the people who were all around them and they bowed down to them. When Israel turned away from God, they turned to the gods. In Hebrew, the word for God is what? Elohim. Say it. Elohim. >> Elohim. >> The word for gods or false gods is Elohim. Same word. Same word. So the thing is if you turn away from the Elohim, you will end up turning to those Elohim.
If you turn away from God, the gods are coming in. The vacuum is not going to stay. The house doesn’t stay empty. So what would happen to America? When Israel turned away from God, they turned to the gods. The number one or chief top of the list god was Baal or his real name was Baal. That’s why there’s two A’s there. It’s Baal. So what were the signs of Baal in a culture? When Baal came to Israel, it was a turn to materialism.
Baal was the god of this world. Baal was carnal physical sensuality, materialism. So what happened to America? When America turned away from God, the result, this spirit of Baal, we became increasingly materialistic. We watched our culture become increasingly away from spirituality, increasingly materialistic, increasingly sensual, carnal, increasingly even vulgar. That’s what happened to Israel.
When the spirit of Baal took over Israel, the nation became pagan. So the sign of Baal, the spirit is to move a quote godly nation or Christian nation to paganization. Pagan. Well, that’s exactly what’s happened to America. They won’t call it pagan, but it’s exactly that. Every single all our values that have been overturned have been overturned in the direction of paganism.
The idea of killing unborn, that’s from the pagan world. The idea of confusing gender, that’s from the pagan world. And so much more. And so our world view, in fact, we are more similar now to the pagan world in our values than we are to the Christian past. Israel’s turn to Baal meant that there was going to be a proliferation of gods and idols.
See, when you take away God, you end up with a gods Elohim and idols because when God is removed, you can’t remove the need for God. So even when you take away God, there’s still the need to worship. So therefore, if you don’t worship God, you’re going to worship something else. And so the Bible says that Baal, it has actually a plural word for Baal. Baleim, try it.
>> Baleim, that means the bales or the many bales. There were bales for towns. There were bales for this and that. Bales with all different names because Baal reproduced. Everybody had their own bail. When you take away God, everything becomes God. When you take away God, anything becomes God.
When you take away the deity, you end up deifying everything else. You remove God, you deify what is not God. So, America, as our culture removed God, other gods proliferated and became more powerful. self, pleasure, comfort, money, sex, pornography, drugs, you whatever you name it. Even ideologies became God. Wokeism where people blindly follow their new god and they will persecute anybody who questions the new god.
