we don’t have a government that puts its big  boot on our neck and tells us how to live and   spends our money for us it was the dream that  we could love God with all of our heart and   that he would help us desire to do the right  thing and that if we could govern ourselves   we would be a blessing to each other and to the  whole world and people would want to come join us America was founded by Brave men willing  to make hard decisions to lead their families   and communities courageously and to stand  unapologetically for truth it excites me to

see men Gathering weekly Trail life groups across  the country to lead bravely to talk together with   their sons about things that matter and to use  Outdoor Adventure as a tool to engage with their   community and mold their culture in trail life  men across the country gather around campfires   building one another up in the truth of the gospel  Trail life dads seek to lead their families and   communities well challenging one another to be  The Godly dads or father figures that a generation   of boys can eagerly watch and learn from Trail  life is the kind of thing we need available to

every boy and dad in America I can encourage you  strongly enough to learn more by visiting trilife   campfire tocom and to consider talking with your  church about starting a trail Life Ministry I I   grew up up as a teenager in Hollywood on Growing  Pains I I have spent most of my life in the Land   of Make Believe and I can tell you that we become  very good at creating perceptions that are not   reality we make you believe stuff that seems real  but it’s not and do you know that that’s what the

dark Forces within the media are doing to you  and to me into our children right now they’re   creating perceptions make believe worlds that seem  very real but it’s not true as I travel around the   country what I’m finding is that people say thank  you for not passing over us the media makes us in   New York look like we have gone way past these  values and we don’t want have anything to do   with God and Faith and family and the Bible and  that’s not true we want this stuff but they’re   silencing us and they’re making it look like we  don’t care about it anymore and I find that all

over the country not just dozens of people not  just hundreds or thousands there are millions of   people who want what you want and who want what  I want and I want to be going through this book   that I just finished called Born to Be Brave  that’s going to teach you how to activate that   dormant courage and have a sense of hope and  optimism about the future because of the power   that lives within you I want to read a quote  from the very first chapter it’s from a Dutch   Theologian a pastor a politician he actually was  the prime minister of the Netherlands in the early

19th century and his name is Abraham Kyper and  listen to what he said he said when the principles   that run against your deepest convictions begin  to win the day and they are aren’t they the very   principles that run against your deepest Faith  convictions and moral convictions are winning   in the culture and dominating and shaping the  hearts and minds of your children he said then   peace becomes sin you must at any price of dearest  peace lay your convictions be before friend and   enemy with all the fire of your faith and battle  is your calling you see what he’s saying there
