so in other words you’ve got an active role in time I that you are to appoint your days and your time for God you are to be proactive you’re not the days are not supposed to be happening just just happening to you are to ordain you’re to be ahead of the the [Music] time a parallel verse from the Hebrew scripture it comes from the psalm that Moses wrote the only Psalm he wrote and he said and he knew about time he lived to 120 that’s most likely more than we’re going to live to some of you may make it there but the odds are not that great
and yet with all that 120 years he knew how precious time was how short it is he’s the one who says our days are like fleeting they’re like nothing to you Lord and then he writes so teach us to number our days that we might present a heart of wisdom teach us to number our days now it’s a cool thing in the Hebrew here because he says teach us number now we all can understand that teach us to number so we don’t waste our days but in the Hebrew the word for number here is Mana or mon try mon that means to not just number it
means to appoint so it could be translated teach us to appoint our days it so in other words you’ve got an active role in time I that you are to appoint your days and your time for God you are to be proactive you’re not the days are not supposed to be happening just just happening to you you are to ordain you’re to be ahead of the the time appoint our days for what then you know ministers are ordained so that they can minister they have an ordination paper you know they can do it well when it says teach us to number our days that
Hebrew word doesn’t only mean number and and a point it also means it could be translated teach us to ordain our days kind of like your days are like ministers that can’t Minister until you ordain them for the purposes of God that again every moment has potential the potential is unlocked according to what you do with God you have to ordain your days so your relationship with time is not just that things happen to me they happen here it goes you’re to be ahead of it you’re on this Earth Earth as a child of God you are not you are to be
leading you are to be leading according the world is not supposed to lead you you’re supposed to be leading the world your situation you’re following God but you’re leading here so even your time you got to have a proactive thing you know the parable that the lord gave about the master who left his servants in charge let and then they all wasted everything remember that and they they did also well well that’s a picture that he’s the master he’s given in us this life and one of the things that we are not to waste is time because he gave us
time the one who invests in time SWS in it for God that’s the wise one and that’s what you have to be now we’re going to focus on one event kind of a a get together recorded in the Bible that’s going to give us more Revelation on God’s keys of making the most of your time or effective time management it’s going to involve the Messiah and two sisters one is named Miriam and the other is named Marta and of course we know them as Martha and Mary and if you have your Bibles to open you can open or just listen Luke 10:
