David wasn’t a warrior before this. He wasn’t he wasn’t a great army. He was simply a shepherd, but he used what God did in his life. He remembered, God, you saved me from the lion. You saved me from the bear when I was a shepherd, and you’re going to save me now. It comes up over and over again in the Bible.
That means it’s something very important, a very important strategy for your life. Apply it. Don’t let all those victories and blessings and answered prayers and testimonies go to waste. Use it. [Music] Let’s look at how to attack your giant, how to undo it. Who are the giant killers of the Bible? Joshua.
Well, in a sense, they he let them in. Caleb and the new generation. Well, right there. What was it that they had that they ended up overcoming the giants? This is crucial because it’s a strategy that can change your life. Joshua and Caleb said, “The land is exceedingly good.” First key, they didn’t focus on the giants.
They didn’t focus on the power of the giants. They recognized that they were there, but they focused on something else. They focused on the promise of God. >> They focused on the calling of God. They focused on the word of God. So with you, first thing you have to stop empowering that thing in your life.
Stop empowering your problems. Stop. You have to stop magnifying the giant. It has enough. It’s a giant. You don’t have to magnify it. >> Focus. You know, when And when you’re dealing with all your all the problems and this problem and that problem, you are magnifying the giant. Focus on God’s promise.
Yes, we know they’re there, but focus on God’s promise and calling. See the promise and the calling God has. What they’re saying is this is so great that we can I cannot get let it get messed up or delayed because of a giant. Focus on the life you are to be living. What kind of life does God has for you? What have for you? A life of freedom.
A life of blessing of can you imagine it? Purity of single-mindedness of joy of power. Can you imagine it? That’s your promised life. That’s part of your promised life. That’s what the giant is hindering you from. And you can’t accept that. The calling is so great. You’re going to say, “The calling of my life is so great that I cannot let the giant stop it.
” >> I cannot accept this anymore. >> So, the first thing is stop being focused on all the problems. You know, you know, don’t be problem oriented. Yes, we realize it. We’re We realize it’s there. We deal with it. But that’s not where your heart’s supposed to be. That’s not where your mind’s supposed to be meditating on.
The enemy uses that to empower himself. Your faith is not about a problem. Your faith is about the answer. >> Get into the answer. Get into the promise of God. Get into the calling. Read about it. Meditate on it. Let it soak in. Let it get in your heart and mind what God has in his word. The life that God has for you. Magnify the promise of God. Minimize the giant
