and church family, let’s stand as we honor the word of God in reading it together. Hebrews chapter 13 tonight. Very listen, very short few verses. Uh but we won’t finish and that’s nothing new for any of you tonight. Uh but you’ll see obviously three verses incredibly powerful.
And so I’ll read verse seven and if you read verse eight, I’ll do verse nine. Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow considering the outcome of their conductus today and forever. All God’s people said, “Amen. That is awesome. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.
For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. And all God’s people said, “Amen.” You may be seated, church. Uh this is an opening section uh that we are titling uh in the end. In fact, we’re probably going to be hanging on to this title all the all the way through to the end of the book.
Chapter 13 is the end of the book of Hebrews. And when we look at a title like this, in the end, uh there’s a lot to cover, there’s a lot to discuss about in the end. What does it mean to you when you hear about the end or in the end? In the end, the movie ends this way or in the end the play ends like this or in the end you fill in the blank.
At the end of his life, this is what happened. And so we often talk about or hear about the end. And to make that statement regarding the end, what happens in the end or what about the end? Or we come to the end of the Bible, which I always find awesome. Only with God does this happen.
