Messiah did not die in some mythological banquet hall of the gods or he didn’t rise up from a mythological earth. He died a real death on a real execution stake under a real Roman procurator and was buried in a real first century Judean tomb. And when he rose it was a real resurrection rising in time and space and history.
First day of the week at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing spices that they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. But when they entered in, they didn’t find the body of the Lord of Adon Yeshua, the Lord Jesus. They were perplexed about this.
When they were two men suddenly stood near them in shining cloth, the women were terrified. They bowed their faces to the ground. The men said to them, “Why are you seeking the living one among the dead? He’s not here, but he has risen.” Remember how he spoke to you while he was still in Galilee, saying that the son of man must be handed over to sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise from the dead.
