Hey friends, have you ever stopped to consider how relevant God’s works are in our rapidly changing world? Think about it. God is God. He’s eternal. He’s forever. And you know, everything in the world is like new and sparkly and what’s the latest and greatest? And here’s God constant forever the same yet ready to meet tomorrow and eternity for you and I.
The works of God are so awesome that they reveal to us his power. From a sunset to a snowflake to birth itself is a display of God’s great power. Creation itself, God’s great display of his authority and his organized way of showing you and I that he is in fact a God of science. He is a God of incredible, incredible creativity. to look around.
You know that by what God has given us. These very acts of his divine not human achievements divine by God calls us to recognize his sovereign authority. God is wonderfully in control. And we are called to be ambassadors of God’s kingdom in this world until Christ comes. which means actively representing God’s rule in our lives to all that we meet, where we work, where we play, what we do, in our families, and in our neighbors lives and all those who God brings into our very scope of influence.
He wants to use you, friends. And so let’s commit to this transforming power of God working in our lives to show us how he wants to use you and I to show his power, his order, his sovereignty. So let’s grab our Bibles and dive in to this study, the rule and reign of Christ. When the day of Pentecost had fully come, what does this mean? It means that the feast of Pentecost celebrated as one of the seven great feasts or celebrations of the Old Testament given by Moses, given by God to Moses, to the children of Israel.
