how many of you like Outreach is kind of weird raise your hands be honest I’m not being mean I’m being H this is real how many of you been told that like evangelism is just not your gift how many of you have thought that because it’s hard to do Outreach that you’re just not an evangelist having the off office of evangelism or the office of evangelist and being able to step back out and talk about your faith they’re are completely different things I just we need to know that um go with me to Matthew 28 I just
want to share something here real quick this is one of the great commissions this is actually what what the church would refer to as the Great Commission um but there’s there’s commissionings in here and this is where it says actually the the chapter or the paragraph title is the commissioning of the disciples and so you’ve got Mark 1614 and 18 Luke 24 36- 49 John 20 19-23 acts 1 6-8 all commissions but this specifically so I I just want you to just read with me it says the 11 disciples went to Galilee to the
mountain where Jesus directed them when they saw him they worshiped but some doubted Jesus came and spoke to them saying all authority say all authority all author now if Jesus has been given all authority that means somebody else has none he didn’t say most Authority he said all authority so if Jesus has been given all authority that means the devil doesn’t have any all authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth go therefore and Make Disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of
the son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all the things that I’ve commanded you and remember I with you always even to the end of the Earth he did not commission evangelists okay this is going to be fun cuz when we and I’m going to step on the stage like that cuz I can cuz there’s a little step up here you guys okay that I’m in shorts okay right I love him and he’s not so concerned about the outside he’s very concerned about the inside cuz I know a lot of people that look good on the outside but inside it’s still messed
