i want to quickly share with you what i’m going to attempt to do in the next four sessions tonight tomorrow morning tomorrow night and saturday morning i’m going to teach you so much in four sessions you’re going to think that you were in a university so here’s we’re going to do i’m going to give you some objectives that we’re going to try and accomplish some of them as a result of this session i’m going to hopefully help you to rediscover the priority of kingdom concepts in scripture my second goal is to help you define
what a kingdom is and how it relates to the terminologies of kingdom and how jesus tried to explain it to us i’m also going to hopefully help you explain the priority of the kingdom as a main subject of the bible that it is the main content of the bible i’m also going to prove to you the distinguishing factor between theology of the modern church and the bible i want to show you that what’s in our churches today is not what the bible taught even our theology from our seminaries have missed the theology of the bible
as a matter of fact in my opinion most of our theology is a study of people’s opinions of the bible also i hope in this next four sessions to teach you how to apply the kingdom tests as a continual thread throughout scripture in other words i want to prove to you that the entire bible is about one subject it’s about the kingdom of god i’m also going to in this session and the next four segments teach you how to evaluate the theology of the 21st century and its negative impact on kingdom theology most of our theology in the church today
is leading people away from jesus theology so we got to check and test it and see is this really what jesus taught i also hopefully will help you to interpret the biblical text and light of kingdom theology in other words i want to show you the concepts that jesus taught so that when you pick up the bible you’ll see the kingdom on every page there’s a way to see that and then finally we’re going to be practical we’re going to help you apply the things you learn for the next 50 years of your life to demonstrate the practical application
of the kingdom theology to daily bible study teaching ministry and your work your business your job your family your home your parenting practices and your investments the kingdom of god is supposed to touch every part of your life i want to begin first of all just to clear the air to find out some words that jesus said right up front in matthew chapter 10 verse 7 jesus said these words as you go i’m quoting him okay he said as you go preach this message and then he defies the message the kingdom of heaven has arrived
