to be on with youday well it’s an honor because I’ve I’ve enjoyed following you and learning from you for years and years and then to admire you from a distance but to love you even up close is uh very meaningful to me that’s awesome I feel the same way yeah I’m excited to dive into your leadership journey and a question I’d like to ask almost all of our guests is where did it start I’m curious there had to be a time somewhere as a young adult uh that you recognize oh my gosh I can actually make a difference in the lives of others when
did you first discover that you were a leader I think for me I think it was probably my senior year of high school and I wasn’t looking to be a leader necessarily I was more of a troublemaker my senior year of high school but I was running for president of my senior class and we had to give a speech we had to do a thing we had to stand up in front of the entire group of seniors and say Here’s why you should elect me or choose me to lead you and uh I remember the horn honking really loud outside my bedroom window we lived in an apartment
so when you came to to our house you literally parked like six feet away from my bedroom window and the horn honked and I woke up and I was like oh my gosh I overslept and it’s the morning I’ve got to go and give my speech for the president of the senior class and my friend picking me up was honking the horn like and I look at the clock and I’m like oh we’re supposed to be there right now so I throw my clothes on don’t even take a shower jump in the car get to the school l walk into the school and I it’s almost like and Lou Giglio and up
