Life is Not A Thingamajig

• As we end a year and prepare for a new one, I’m still hearing Holy Spirit concerning destiny, purpose, and potential that I began talking about somewhere around Thanksgiving. Purpose and potential are interrelated as we will see today. And especially this past week, Holy Spirit has emphasized the incredible potential of a bornag again person.
• He’s been emphasizing to me the purpose and the potential of the heirs that is contained in their individual destinies. destinies that are successful in the natural realm, but also help us serve the cause of Christ in the spirit realm. And it is both. We are to bring glory to God in all that we do. Whatever you do, do it with all your might.
• Do it as unto the Lord. And we are to acknowledge him in all of our ways. So we are to be functioning heirs in all areas of life and represent King Jesus on the earth as sons or daughters intentionally being who we are. Who we are in Christ’s kingdom. who we are to be in culture, in our nation, in our vocations, in our families, in our relationships, in in every area of life.
• Holy Spirit leads us to destiny possibilities. It’s one of his his assignments. He leads us to destiny possibilities that by faith and by obedience we can pursue. Holy Spirit is the key to living successful lives as we have been seeing. Jesus said follow him. He’s my other self. He will be with you. He will be in you.
• be filled with his presence and power. He will lead you. He will guide you. He will direct you. Walk after him. Walk after Holy Spirit. And Holy Spirit and his angels that he assigns to your life will will reveal your God-given potential. He will connect you to destiny you were made for. Now, I’m not going to re review very much today, just enough to launch this.
• I’ve I’ve previously given a lot of definitions concerning destiny, and you can go online and you can watch that. But today’s message will stand on its own. Just remember as we begin today that the Greek word for purpose is prothesis. uh pro means before or to set before or can mean beforehand. Thesis of course is a written report, a composition or an essay.
