LIFT Daily Prayer: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Wednesday. I want to thank all of you again for praying for me. Praying for me yesterday. God blessed. It was a God just was he favor, you know, I always ask for God’s favor and he favored yesterday. I uh miraculously drove down to San Diego. There was so much craziness going on. what should have taken a little over an hour took two uh and a half almost three hours to get to San Diego.
Spoke at uh at a radio event for Salem radio to a lot of pastors and then from there drove to uh Vista, California and uh had a wonderful time uh doing a podcast. I was invited onto a podcast by a very articulate young man by the name of uh Rristllin and that podcast is going to be coming out pretty quick.
Um, but that was almost a 2-hour podcast and then um had to had a meeting in Huntington Beach and then got back home to Chino Hills and uh that turned out to be a 13-hour day. But God blessed and it was my day off. So, it was a very good day off. God is so good to us. God’s doing amazing things. And I don’t know if anybody of you saw this, but last night at the World Series in Los Angeles, um they were playing over the stadium, over the whole field in the middle of the game.
I mean, you know, like when they took a break or in between innings as the teams were changing out the field, they were playing Christian music, Christian praise music at the World Series in Los Angeles, and you could hear people singing, “Something’s up, folks.” And I praise God for it. Who would have ever thought of that? My goodness. Well, listen.
I’m going to read a good chunk of scripture here. We’re going to just pluck out the theme to pray for. It’s Acts chapter 16 verses 27-31. Acts 16:27 to31. And the scripture tells us, “And the keeper of the prison, awaking from his sleep, seeing the prison doors had been opened, supposing that the prisoners had fled, Paul was one of the prisoners, drew out his sword, and he was about to kill himself to commit suicide.
” I’ll tell you why in a moment. But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” Then he called for a light and he ran in. And the man fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sers, what must I do to be saved?” So they said to him, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
