If you live in that authority, if you say, “Yes, Lord, I’m treating you as Lord,” you will have the power to take the name of the Messiah and stand in it in authority over anything that would seek to have authority over you. [Music] Early on, the account of Joseph, you have all they have this amazing name, but the other name that he was given early on was by people who hated him.
And yet it’s an amazing name. And I want to take this personally now. The name Baal Halamote, the Lord of Dreams, the master of dreams. What does that tell you? Messiah is the Lord of Dreams. In the story of Joseph, they had to give their dreams to him. What does that mean to you? Messiah is the Lord not just of dreams. He’s the Lord of your dreams.
That includes your broken dreams. Everybody has them. If you’re if you’re in this world long enough, you’ve got brok some broken dreams. Everybody, some people carry them for years, sometimes for your whole life. Something you wanted fell through. Something you longed for didn’t happen. Somebody you wanted, they rejected you.
A broken relationship, a broken marriage, a broken family, a broken career, a broken walk, an ambition that never came about. Something you always wanted, couldn’t do it. You’ve carried it deep down and it stayed with you. A loss, something. It’s been a sorrow. You’ve held on to it. But Yeshua, Jesus, is the Lord of dreams.
That means he’s the Lord of your broken dreams. That means you need to give him your broken dreams. Just like they had to give Joseph their dreams, give him, don’t hold on to it. Give him the broken things. Give him the abandonment. Give him the rejections. Give him the disappointments.
