Let the Holy Spirit Lead: Stronger Through the Storm

  • Romans chapter 8:14. For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are called what? The sons of God. So I’m not even called a son of God if I’m not led by the spirit of God. So through the influence of the Holy Spirit, we begin to accomplish great works and feats in this earth. Not because of our greatness, but because of who he is.
  • So I believe that this world is waiting to see who Jesus is in his fullness. I stand a lot on Habca 2:14 as you know that the glory of the knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. I believe that a nation can be born in a day. I believe that God is a miracle working God.
  • I believe that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our God. I believe that God has given us all authority and power both in heaven and earth. I believe that God wants to show the world who Jesus is. I believe that the gospel will go to the ends of the earth and that it will be preached and that God’s will will be done in the earth as it is in heaven.
  • But God has to use people who know how to walk with him, who know how to walk with the Holy Spirit. So, the first thing that that that I want you to understand, we tapped on this just a little bit as I talked to you about who the Holy Spirit is. He’s not a dictator. He He doesn’t come and dictate. He’s not like this commander-in-chief that just tells you the Holy Spirit is is very gentle. He’s a gentleman.
  • So, we’re to be led. Like, in other words, we often are saying, “Here, come over here. I want you to bless this. I’m going to marry this person. I want to do this. I’m going to this church.” and try to get the Holy Spirit to bless or get God to bless what we’re doing. That’s not like that. God wants you to be sensitive to the voice.
  • He wants you to be obedient to the Holy Spirit. It’s our responsibility to become so rooted and grounded in Christ to have the Holy Spirit operating in our life so that we can walk out the will of God and fulfill the plan of God in this earth. Listen, if you are sensitive Holy Spirit, you don’t struggle.
  • You don’t struggle with the issues of this world. You’re not struggling. Listen, we can all day long. I’m trying to be nice and sensitive, but I don’t know how to be anything but black and white. I don’t know how to do anything except for very authentic and very open. If you’re sensitive to the Holy Spirit, you’re not struggling with issues that God calls sin, and you try to dress it up like righteousness.
