principles being taught we promise you your life will not be the same when you turn your advisors to the book matthew 28 i’ve been asked to talk about financing the kingdom of god’s work financing the work of god becoming ministers of finance this terminology is one that’s not in use in the church because the church is religious i’ve been trying to de-religiousize the church for the last 30 years and it’s almost like a big monster but the ministry of finance is one that is foreign because the church the religious
church has been trying to build a global administrative diplomatic call on offerings [Music] offerings you call them tides and offerings they basically charity and it’s kind of difficult to depend on on people’s feelings and emotions and even their perception of you and their unstable relationships with you to construct something permanent this is why so many churches are still struggling and many of them are poor they can’t do the work that they want to do in their community but i want to tell you that the property of the church is a strategy of the devil
because the most important the most important power on earth is money some people think that the devil is evil father devil is not the evil even though he use that term the bible teaches that the love of money is the root which means that satan is just a fruit [Music] anyhow so let me explain what that statement means what it means is whatever you are facing
anywhere in the world you can trace it back to money [Music] so if something is not working out on earth you can trace the problem back either to a lack of money or too much love for it i asked your turn in matthew 28 because i want to correct some misconceptions about some theology all of you know the story about the resurrection of jesus but i want you to turn to chapter 28 matthew verse 11.
uh most pastors including my father who is a minister all my life we preach that the first people to to witness the resurrection of jesus for the women mary mary and mary of michael [Music] and we preached that these women ran off and they began to share with the disciples what they saw and many people preached that during easter you know i mean it is the resurrection of jesus and they ran and preached the gospel to disciples and that’s how it took place that’s not what the bible teaches this is very important to understand
