if you are living in fear and ultimately your thinking is rooted in fear then everything you hear will be filtered through that fear we’re not walking in the spirit when we rely on self we’re not walking in the spirit when we minimize the holy spirit’s power and magnifi demonic power we’re not walking in the spirit when we complicate Freedom instead of going by the Simplicity of the truth of scripture so what ends up happening is it’s it’s this fear based approach to Christianity and that fear ultimately is because it’s we’ve not understood the love of God
[Music] Galatians 5:1 so Christ has truly set us free now make sure that you stay free and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law listen I Paul tell you this if you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God then Christ will be of no benefit to you I’ll say it again if you are trying to find favor with God by being circumcised you must obey every regulation in the law of Moses for if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law you’ve been cut off from Christ you’ve Fallen away from God’s grace but we who live by the spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith
the righteousness God has promised to us for when we place our faith in Christ Jesus there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised what is important is Faith expressing itself in love so when whenever we talk about living in the spirit walking in the spirit um being in the spirit there’s a couple of ways that Christians can take that the first one being that more General terminology in reference to just living for God in general and then the second way we can mean that is in regards to choosing
