Good morning and welcome to the Kirk Cameron Show. I hope you had a great weekend. I sure did. Well, I’m not a pastor. I’m not a politician. I’m been in the acting and media business for a long time, but I’m a husband and I’m a father and a Christian and I want to see great things for the future of our country and I want to honor God.
In this episode, we’re going to talk about how hope can be your greatest strength or your biggest heartbreak. False hope will crush you, but real hope will carry you through your life. So, are are you hoping in things that amount to just wishful thinking, or is your hope anchored in something you can trust and depend on for the rest of your life? Let’s talk about it.
And don’t forget to subscribe to this channel so you never miss an episode. For the believer in Christ, for someone who has abiding faith in God, hope is not the dream that you hope will come true. It’s about a confident expectation of what you know is true that will anchor and guide your life. This is something that the run-of-the-mill person just can’t have because while they can hope, they don’t have the ability to hope in the thing that will actually bring them the satisfaction and security that they so desperately want. This is a gift that we
get when we come in humility and faith to almighty God. As human beings, we constantly speak in the language of hope. Think about it. You say, “Boy, I hope it doesn’t rain today, or I I I hope the stuff at work goes well, or I hope she’s not mad at me, or I hope that my husband will uh not be angry and and he will see the value of me again today.
