Cuffed to Convenience // Cuffing Season (Part 3)

• i am grateful for everybody who is joining us in the third week of this series called cuffing season now i want to go ahead and admit that this series causes a lot of um pain if you’re actually listening to this series with your heart open this one hurts a little bit okay now some of y’all just watching like let me see what’s about to happen your heart is closed it’s fine right now i’m asking you to open your heart because in week three i just want to let you know the two past weeks were the warm-up the level of revelation and clarity that
• god is giving me on this series about being cuffed to things that we love that don’t love us back the things that we’ve been doing since we were young the things that we say and we think we’re being funny but we’re actually tearing down our future uh-oh the ideas that we embrace around our family and familiar people that are actually robbing us of the future that god has planned for us we’ve been cuffed to things that are killing our calling and so many people want to know god’s will for your life and want to know like
• what what has god called me to do the truth of the matter many times the answer is not in what you pick up the answer isn’t what you let go of and i just want to come help somebody because a lot of people have been praying for god to do something and god’s asking you to let go of something you don’t have enough room to receive new vision uh-oh you don’t have enough freedom from certain things to actually be able to invest in the next thing that god has called you to do and so i believe it’s my assignment over this series and i don’t know we might do
• this series for for real 20 weeks i don’t know like because the level of c words that i have that correlate with the bible right now is tremendous do you hear me i got cuff into everything because i keep seeing it in people’s life and i’m tired of the body of christ losing winning battles i’ma say it to this side i am tired of the body of christ losing when the fight is already fixed you are supposed to win this but the truth is that many of us are cuffed to things that have become let me say it in a biblical term idols
• see idol is not just a statue that people worship an idol is anything that has taken the place of god okay so for some of you you have idols that you birthed [Music] some of you have idols that you live in some of you have idols that you drive some of you have idols that are celebrities some of you it’s taken the place of god when they say do it you obey my mind okay let me stop when when when they when they say lift your hands to give an offering you pay a hundred and something dollars for the ticket what do y’all think they do at concerts
