Cuffed To Cake // Cuffing Season (Part 6)

• well today we are in week six of a series we’re calling coughing season and before you clap today is gonna hurt all that worship we just did was to prepare you for this whooping that we all about to get um the one thing i love about our church is we believe in the word of god not some of it not the parts that are culturally popular today we believe in the whole thing and we look at it through the lens of jesus and what he did for us in the new testament through the finished work of jesus christ but we use all of it to point us towards
• truth and today um i’m probably going to talk on a subject that you’ve never heard a message on before so i just want to prepare everybody you’re not going to be able to cross-reference this except in the bible and this week i’ve been studying i’ve been talking i’ve been counseling i’m asking people questions cause this one is a problem for me too everybody say me too that’s what i try to get up here and do every sunday is not say look at you as a pastor as a leader as an imperfect man that is striving to be like jesus
• all i’m trying to say is this is the truth and me too like i need the holy spirit help to do this one too like i know i’m on a platform but i’m the same as you everybody’s saying me too so today as i preach this message i’m going to approach it with the utmost humility cause me too and when i tell you the title some of y’all gonna want to check out here’s somebody said me too what i’m asking you to do is for the next about hour okay i need you to hold on no matter what like i just need you to lock in everybody say lock in
• it no matter what i’ma step on something that offends you hold on okay cause the truth even spoken in love when you don’t want to hear it is offensive it’s like i’ve been on this journey of losing weight and and there was a couple of people down the road not enough but a few that was like hey brother you’re getting a little you’re getting a little charged up you’re getting a little fluffy there i wasn’t hearing that i thought i was sexy because even the truth in love when you don’t want to hear it is offensive that’s why sometimes your wife can tell
• your breath stink and even though you know you just slept a whole eight hours and ate onions the night before and did not brush your teeth before you went to the bed somehow it’s still a little offensive when they just tell you the truth baby back up you want to kiss right now i’m just trying to get this in your head cause the truth in some of y’all just be telling the truth and there’s no love attached to it so you need to shut up and sit down the holy spirit says if you’re gonna do all these things prophesy and cast out dean is my name
