How To Redeem Your Family Name Part 2

  • Our family’s not going to be known as addiction. Our family’s not going to be known as dysfunction in Jesus’ name. Our family’s not going to be known as divorce. Our family is not going to be known as suffering. Our family, our family’s going to be known as Jesus is in their genetics. They go through the same stuff, but they end up right back where they started. Jesus.
  • Jesus. Give me Jesus. Together, we’re inspiring people to live for Jesus. If you’re looking for more in life, to live with purpose and peace, to make a difference for your family and those in need around the world, Jesus is the answer, and our mission is to simply point you to him. You’re watching Kingdom Connection with Jetson Franklin.
  • I’m preaching this morning the part two to what I started last week on how to redeem your family name. You can redeem your family name. When you think of a family, you think of a name. Instantly something is attached to that family name. And what will be your legacy? The story is told and set in Numbers chapter 16.
  • And we’ll we’ll get to it in just a moment. But these two young, we think that it was two young boys, two sons of Kora are noticing an increasing negative bitter anger spirit, constant complaining. and they’re powerless to stop their once spiritual father once mightily anointed and used of God father who has now become resentful and bitter and offended and hurt at Moses at Aaron and at God himself.
  • Their father was the cousin of Moses and Aaron. He was of the chosen by God tribe of Levi. He and his family to be chosen, handpicked, cut out, separated from the rest of the congregation and chosen to be leaders in the tabernacle in the wilderness. This sacred duty, every time that the tabernacle moved, he had to pack it up.
  • And he was the one that would was given the specific different tribes had different things that they were to do when they would were moving through the wilderness. But it was the Kora and his family who had the the items, the furniture, the holy furniture that was dedicated. These things are so holy that if any unauthorized person even touches the brazen altar, even touches the the brazen uh wash pan, even touches the incense altar, if anyone unauthorized, the only ones that I trust and authorize to touch these things is Kora and his
  • family. What an honor to be chosen. One man’s offense so erupts that it spreads throughout the whole congregation. And then they charge the tabernacle and Moses and Aaron are there. And you pick up the story and the scripture said in verse three of number 16, “And they rose up before Moses with certain of the children of Israel, 250 princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown, and they gathered themselves together.” Now watch the arrogance.
