The End Time Mystery of The Autumn Holy Days | Feast of Tabernacles
-
If the holidays of the autumn are linked to Jerusalem, the book of Revelation in the end leads to Jerusalem. What’s the last part of Revelation? the Jerusalem says, “And the Lord said to Moses, speak to the children of Israel, saying, the 15th day of the seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles, seven days to the Lord.
-
When you gather in the increase of your land, you will keep the feast for seven days and you will live in tabernacles for seven days. And this is the ancient chant that is said on the day. [Music] Blessed are you, Lord God, King of the universe, who sanctified us in your word and commanded us to dwell in tabernacles. This is a biblical thing. This is the wave offering. And it’s I’ll tell you what it’s not. It’s not like where you go all go up like this and like that. That’s not the wave of the Bible. From this feast, you have palms.
-
And you’re thinking, well, that’s not Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday comes from tabernacles there because you are to wave. David says you will, the Lord speaks of the branches you will carry in worship to God. From the feast of tabernacles also comes Hanukkah. That’s why Hanukkah is 8 days. It’s based on tabernacles. And there’s one other holiday that comes from the feast of tabernacles. You’ve known it since you were a child.
-
It’s called Thanksgiving. For the pilgrims or the Puritans said, “We want to celebrate the harvest like the like as Israel did and give thanks to God.” That’s tabernacles. And so it says in the command, you shall take to yourselves on the first day the fruit of majestic trees, palm branches, and the and oak trees and the willows of the brook. You will rejoice before the Lord seven days.
-
Well, this is called the lulav tri. You have one of the branches of the lulav. This the lulav in the middle is the palm. That’s what you have. You see this reminded Israel of the journey that God was with them and kept them. The palm trees grow in the valleys. So reminded them as they walked through the valleys, God was with them. But then you have the myrtle.
-
The myrtle, which is actually Esther’s name, Hadassa. This one grows on the mountains and the rough places. So when they went through the rough places of the wilderness, it reminded them God was with them in the rough places and the mountains and then this the willows they grow by the streams of water, the waterbrooks, the willow by the brook.
-
So it reminded them when of the water that God gave them in the wilderness when they were starving. And so this is also a shadow because we are all pilgrims. We’re all journeying. This life is a journey. If you’re born again, you are journeying to the promised land. And so the thing is it tells us that in in our journeys with God that he is always with us. When the palm in the valleys, God was with us.
-
In the low places of the of our life, he never left us. And then the myrtles in the rocky and rough places that we went through, God was with us and he never left us. He never left you. And then the myrtle, in the dry places of your walk, God was with you and he gave you water to drink. And this is called the etrog.
-
And the etrog is a fruit. This is from the promised land. And this fruit is called is also called the citroron. The etrog. This is lifted up. And this represents the promised land that we remember in our journey. We are heading to the promised land. We are heading to a better place.
-
And so the the high priest would take both in their in his hands and they would wave it before the Lord. So they this is we’re going to do something real biblical. We’re going to wave your branches to the four corners of the earth as we declare that the Lord is king over all the earth. So, first you’re the pretty much where you’re facing, but this way it’s kind of on a diagonal this way.
-
This is to the east and this is the direction. Lord, we praise you and we declare that you are Lord over the east. all the nations of the east, Lord, the Middle East, the Far East. You are Lord of them all. And we turn like a quarter to now here, which is now. That’s the East. This is the South. Lord, we pray and declare you are Lord over all the nations of the South.
