The End Time Mystery of The Bride & Bridegroom – First Wedding In The Bible

  • So the Lord said, “If you then being sinful, know how to give good gifts for your children, how much more will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit for those who ask of him.” The very first wedding in the Bible, the only wedding ever recorded in the Bible in detail. This is going to be the beginning of the mystery.
  • There’s more to it than we’re going to do this morning, but it’s so cool because it’s going to open up Revelations mysteries about God, you, and the spirit of God in your life. Genesis 24 verse one. Now Abraham was old, advanced in age, and the Lord had blessed Abraham in every way. Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who is in charge of all that he owned, “Please place your hand under my thigh, and I will make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, the God of earth, that you shall not take a wife for my sons, from
  • the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I live, but you will go to my country, to my family, my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac.” Now, to see what this is going to reveal and open up, we got to look at the context of this. The last great major event that happened before this is Genesis 22 when God asked Abraham to offer up his only son Isaac.
  • He asked him to offer him up in the land of Mariah. They go on a journey. The father and the son go on a journey to Mariah. They go on a donkey. They come to the mountain of Mariah. Abraham puts the wood on Isaac. Isaac brings it up the mountain, the sacrificial wood, to the place of the sacrifice. He lays his son down on the wood, binds his son to the wood, lifts up a knife, and God stops him and say, “Don’t touch the boy.
  • ” This was a test to see your faith. God seals the covenant at that moment. And he says, “Because you did this, I’m going to do this.” And he said, “By myself, I will. I have sworn it.” What is that? What God asked Abraham to do but didn’t want him to do but asked him to be willing to do is what God is actually going to do. Because when you make a covenant the one party what the one party’s will willing to do the other party has to be willing to do.
